Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and hospitality-focused professional to join our People & Culture team as a People & Culture Coordinator. In this role, you will assist in processing payroll, maintain employee records, and provide key administrative support to the People & Culture team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll processing and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Additionally, you'll assist with onboarding, benefits administration, and other people-focused tasks to help create an exceptional partner experience. Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist in weekly payrolls for all partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, garnishments, and tax-related information.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings and scheduling interviews.
- Facilitate employee onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment.
- Coordinate and support CORE: learning sessions, partner Growth & Development Conversations, and other People & Culture initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all People & Culture-related laws, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assist with compiling data for audits and other regulatory requirements.
- Scan, upload and file documents into appropriate employee files and/or People & Culture files
- Assists with leave of absence administration and benefits process, including but not limited to, answering questions, providing support during open enrollment, assisting with leave process
Experience and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Bi-lingual in English, Spanish Preferred.
