Knauf Turkey office is based in Ankara, with 2 plants and 4 quarries serving the Turkish market and exports of our product. We've been producing high quality, market-leading gypsum building products for 91 years. Knauf Turkey is a part of Knauf Middle East, Africa & South Asia (MEASA) which is one of Knauf Group's regions. Our 2100 strong team including 350 Turkey team is growing and we are looking for passionate, ambitious people to help us achieve our goals. We are now looking for another team mate to join us in People department as People Partner.

What you'll be doing:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders on HR and people-related matters,
  • Driving the alignment of HR strategies with business goals, ensuring that the organization can achieve its objectives through effective people management,
  • Collaborating with department managers to understand and fulfill staffing needs,
  • Managing job postings, resume screenings, interviews, and selection processes,
  • Developing and conducting onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees,
  • Collaborating with business leaders to identify talent needs and create succession plans,
  • Providing coaching and guidance on career development for employees,
  • Implementing effective performance management techniques to enhance employee productivity,
  • Providing guidance to all employees through the performance review and appraisal process,
  • Supporting business units through organizational changes, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy,
  • Identifying training needs within the business units and coordinating relevant programs,
  • Promoting a culture of learning and continuous development,
  • Partnering with leaders to foster a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization,
  • Monitoring key HR metrics and providing regular reports to People Director,
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve employee engagement,
  • Developing, updating and implementing HR policies and procedures.

What we'd love for you to have:

We are interested in you as a person: your attitude, behaviors and values. As long as you have the willingness to learn anything you need for the role that you don't already have, we'd love to speak to you. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology or any other degree relating to Human Resources; Master degree is preferable,
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR with an equivalent role,
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and principles,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization,
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills,
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications,
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills,
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with global teams,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Residency/ To be able to reside in Ankara.
