Per Diem CNA with Flexible Hours - First Choice Nurses : Job Details

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated CNAs for exciting Per-Diem opportunities. Enjoy flexible hours while providing critical support in healthcare settings. This position requires local candidates who can work 12-hour shifts (7A-7P and/or 7P-7A).

Requirements:

• Covid vaccination
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• BLS/CPR Certification required
• Updated PPD within the last year
• Active CNA certification
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without restrictions
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods

Job Duties:

• Provide professional, compassionate care to patients
• Assist LPNs in delivering the highest level of care
• Administer medications and treatments as per medical orders
• Support wound care management following established protocols
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges according to facility standards
• Conduct ongoing assessments and communicate effectively with patients and families

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience as a CNA
• Ability to perform various care tasks independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with healthcare safety and sanitation protocols
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and nursing best practices
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and data entry skills
• Excellent physical stamina and resilience
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• A compassionate nature and excellent stress management skills
