Job Description & RequirementsPractice Setting: Critical care - inpatient12-hour shifts- 7am-7pmAverage Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 9Average Number of Admissions per Physician per Day: 3Trauma Level/Designation: IITotal Number of Beds: 26 (unit shared with trauma team; not capped)Number of ICU Beds: 26Number of Critical Care Physicians in Group: 7, plus other APPsOther Critical Care Physicians Present During Locum's Coverage: YesLocum Physician Required to Supervise Other Healthcare Providers: NoLocum Involved in Covering/Supervising Teaching Services (Residents/Fellows): NoDocumentation System/EMR: Cerner/OraclePractice Setting: Medical, neurocritical careVentilation Management Procedures Required: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy)Required Insertions: Central Line, Arterial LineDiagnostic/Therapeutic Taps Required: N/AAdditional Procedures Required: ICP evaluation and management, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issuesEstimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 - 90 daysRequirementsCertified Critical Care APP (APN or PA)-REQUIREDBLS, ACLS (must be must be American Heart Association issued) - REQUIREDClean Background- highly preferredNJ license - REQUIREDLocal candidates (only mileage will be reimbursed)- Required
