Per Diem Radiation Oncologist, Poughkeepsie, NY (75 Minutes North of NYC)
Summary:
Nuvance Health Cancer Institute is seeking to hire a per diem radiation oncologists to join a collegial practice. Candidates will enjoy being a part of a successful and long-standing ACR accredited cancer center within the sphere of a wider health system that spans the Hudson Valley and Western Connecticut. The practices are well-established, compensation competitive, and staff are both supportive and experienced. The position can provide coverage at our facilities in Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, Kingston or Carmel, NY. The practice covers a 3-hospital practice site, though the Hudson Valley.
Criteria:
* ABR board-certified
* Recent experience with performing advanced radiation techniques including linac-based SRS, SBRT and use of IGRT.
* Eligible for licensure in the state of New York
* Personable and interested in forming strong, collaborative, relationships with referring providers.
* Interesting in building/developing programs, enrolling patients in clinical trials, and participating in tumor boards.

Salary: $500-$625K based on full time
Location: Vassar Brothers Medical Center

Work Shift: variable 8:30 a.m.- 5:00p.m.
