Performance and Reporting AVP - Selby Jennings : Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Prepare investment performance reports for various stakeholders, including senior management, portfolio managers, marketing, and relationship managers, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate, reconcile, analyze, and update investment performance information across different applications.
• Lead the GIPS composite conversion to TrustNet
• Assist in the annual GIPS certification process.
• Respond to inquiries regarding investment performance methodology and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and correct any inaccurate data promptly.
• Ensure all deliverables are met accurately and on time, following established procedures and policies.
• Assist in GIPS compliance and the required documentation.
• Maintain ownership of data quality and availability.
• Work independently on various analytical projects while supporting other Portfolio Analytics team members as needed.

Job Requirements (Skills / Abilities):

• 2-5 years of experience in investment performance reporting and accounting.
• Solid understanding of the investment management industry, particularly equity and fixed income markets, as well as industry benchmarks.
• Prior experience with performance reporting systems, accounting systems, and analytic systems (e.g., FirstRate, FactSet PA, FactSet SPAR, Investedge, FIS Global Plus, Advent Axys, Bloomberg).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), with advanced skills in Excel.
• Knowledge of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple deadlines, work under pressure, identify operational requirements, and interface cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Experience with SQL, Python, VBA is a plus.
