Performing Arts Center Coordinator/ 240 days at 49% (19 hours a week)Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university: preferably in communications, public relations, marketing, or media field; 2 Working knowledge of PC's, Macs, and iPads; 3. Strong oral and written communication skills; 4. Strong leadership qualities, ability to work and communicate successfully with others to include stakeholders and community members, and possess organizational, supervisory and people skills; 5. Ability to use Google Docs and Sheets; 6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience operating a multi-channel soundboard. 2. Experience operating a Creston control system for lighting and video.Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Prompt and regular attendance. 2. Ability to work independently. 3. Flexible scheduling with the ability to work on evenings and on the weekends occasionally. 4. Schedule, coordinate, and manage events at the Performing Arts Center. 5. Supervise the Performing Arts Center custodian and other staff assigned to the Performing Arts Center 6. Create and submit usage and revenue reports. 7. Maintain the digital marquee at the Performing Arts Center. 8. Enter work orders as needed to ensure the appearance and sustained operation of the Performing Arts Center. 9. Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned. 10. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.Physical Requirements: Able to perform routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities including: Medium Work: Exerting 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds as needed to move objects. Terms of Employment: Salary shall be paid consistent on the System's approved salary schedule. Length of work year and hours of employment shall be established by the system. Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Executive Director of Technology and Media in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy.
