Peripheral Logistics - Netafim : Job Details

DescriptionThe Logistics Peripheral Lead loads resin into silos, moves raw materials to and from the manufacturing floor, segregates pelletized materials, flakes, and nonconforming materials, and maintains a high-level house keeping of the yard and fire lanes. They're also responsible for entering SAP data and goods receipts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties as assigned.)Enter data and goods receipts into SAP.Create and manage spreadsheets in excel.Manage and enter data into excel databases.Backup to drippers management department.Backup to material logistics coordinator.Loading of silos.Draining of railcars.Upkeep of the yard and grinding areas.Segregation of nonconforming materials (all recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastic, drippers, stretch wrap, purging, and flakes).Handles raw material movements.Monitor and maintain the Landfill compactor.Monitor and maintain the waste management zero waste to landfill program.Monitor and maintain reels inventory and reel yard organization.Monitor and maintain the recoil feedstock area.Responsible for the organization of production & distribution used pallets as well as the organization of sold palletsRequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years of inventory management experienceInventory management system tools experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentLANGUAGE SKILLSFluent in English SKILLSMicrosoft office excel, word, power pointSAPProven effective communication skillsInventory management background desiredJob Knowledge- Manufacturing Background desiredIndependent / ReliableInitiative / CreativityInterpersonal SkillsInventory ManagementMechanical Skills a PlusPHYSICAL DEMANDS Lifting of 70lbs when requiredLong Hours on Demand Month End CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSForklift certifiedStand up forklift certifiedDrivers License
