Permanent: Primary Care APP Position in Upstate New York - Healthcare Staffing Plus : Job Details

A client in upstate New York with an opening for a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. Opening Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek with 4 hours of admin time
• No call
• Daily Census: 18-20 patients
• Board certification required
• Will accept new grads

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited PA or NP program
• One year of work experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
