People Creating Success is looking for compassionate, patient, and caring Direct Care Staff to join us in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives. We offer a variety of shifts and are especially interested in candidates who are available on weekends.

What You'll Do:

Your duties will vary based on the needs of the individuals you support but may include:

  • Following individual program plans and working towards their goals
  • Completing documentation at the end of each shift
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including:
    • Cleaning, cooking, and light household duties
    • Participating in community events and activities
    • Supporting healthy food choices and budget management
    • Helping with hobbies, studies, and social activities
    • Providing hygiene and bathing assistance if needed
    • Lifting and transferring individuals if applicable
    • Assisting with medication management if applicable
    • Communicating with staff and program managers about individuals' progress
    • Maintaining mature judgment and a warm, caring demeanor

Requirements for Employment:

  • Pass pre-employment screening including a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification is a plus (Training available if not certified)
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and proof of insurance (if applicable)
