Location: Akron, OH

Pay range: $15-$16/hr based on qualifications and experience

*Make your own hours, no evenings and no weekends*

• Part-Time (20-29 hours) and Full-Time (37.5 hours) opportunities available

Job Summary

Join our team of Personal Care Aides that provide assistance to older adults and adults with disabilities to help them remain independent in their own homes. Assist with bathing, grooming and personal care tasks, as well as light house cleaning, laundry, errands and meal preparation. The Home Health Aide uses a wellness approach to client care to enhance self-sufficiency and independence in the home, and our clients enjoy long-term relationships with their caregivers.

• Bathing, grooming and personal care tasks
• Light cleaning, laundry and errands
• Light meal/food preparation
• Providing a kind, friendly approach to care

• HHA/Nursing Assistant work experience within the past 2 years (if not newly certified as PCA) required
• Documented 60 hours of training as a HHA or Nursing Assistant, and be able to pass skills testing
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean driving record, and ability to complete a satisfactory BCII and FBI Background Check
• Reliable transportation to and from worksites and client homes
