Personal Care Aide - University Home Care : Job Details

Description of the role:As a Personal Care Aide at University Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their own homes. This includes assisting with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, as well as offering companionship and emotional support.Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
• Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
• Medications, as reminders
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry
• Assist with grocery shopping and running errands
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements:

• Prior experience in care giving or a related field (not necessary)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
