Assisting Hands Home Care, a national leader for Home Care services is looking for the best caregivers to join our team of caregivers. We are looking for compassionate, experienced and reliable caregivers for 1:1 care opportunities Serving Schaumburg IL/ Park Ridge IL and surrounding suburbs. APPLY IF:

• Have 1+ year of caregiving experience
• You have a valid Il driver's license auto insurance and have a reliable car
• You have a passion to help those in the community stay safe and happy at home.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to provide physical assistance with transferring
• Patience and understanding when working with clients who may have cognitive or behavioral challenges
• Please note each client is different and Individual ADLS may differ from client to client.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Bringing positive energy into each home you serve.
• Engagement in meaningful activities of mind and body.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living ADLS (Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Light housekeeping, such as laundry, dusting, sweeping
• Meals: Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding (If needed)
• medication reminders.
• Transport/Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
