When you join the Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT & NH, you'll become part of a dedicated team delivering outstanding home health and hospice services that enrich the lives of the people we serve. *Personal Care Assistants* at VNH are integral members of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to patients, allowing them to receive the medical care required in the comfort of their own home. *The Personal Care Assistant will:* * Provides compassionate non-medical hands-on care for clients who require assistance with personal care, light homemaking tasks, medication reminders, cueing and errands so that clients can remain safely in their respective homes * Preparing meals; grocery shopping, storage, general cooking, storing in containers, utilizing safe food handling standards. * Cleaning living areas including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and sitting areas; includes the possible use of vacuum cleaners, brooms, general household cleaners, general household trash removal.
