Our client is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year!

Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

Location: Perkasie, PA 18944

Hours: 8:20am-3:50pm Mon- Fri

Type: Open-ended contract

Rate: Very good for area, based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist student with meeting academic and/or behavioral goals.
• Assist student with any supports/modifications needed to access facilities and curriculum, including physical support and adapting teaching materials.
• Promote safe and acceptable replacement behaviors to enhance communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
• Increase the frequency or duration of appropriate behaviors through reinforcement.
• Follow treatment plan goals and seek appropriate consultation.
• Collaborate with families and treatment teams to provide effective treatment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent
• Experience with Special education or Behavioral Health Preferred (experience working with students)
• Own reliable transportation (car)
