The opportunity to help others and be part of a dedicated, caring team awaits you! As a PCA, your role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care by performing essential daily living activities and assisting our nursing team.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation of nursing care plans and delivering patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
- Accurately obtaining and recording patient information, including vital signs and other key health indicators.
- Assisting with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning, while ensuring safety during activities.
- Collecting specimens for diagnostic tests while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Helping patients with daily activities such as eating, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Adhering to best practices that enhance the patient experience through effective communication and care techniques.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
