Job Description: As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our young clients. You will assist individuals with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

This position is typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with the option for additional evening and weekend hours as needed.

Candidates must reside within a reasonable distance of Alpharetta, GA 30004.

Requirements:

  • Reliable Car and a valid driver's license are required
  • High school graduate or G.E.D certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
  • Current CPR certificate is recommended.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and assistive devices as necessary.
  • Assist with medication reminders and maintain accurate records as instructed.
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to enhance clients' emotional well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Observe and report any changes in clients' condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor or care team member.
  • Maintain professional boundaries, respect clients' privacy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
