Part-Time Personal Care Attendant at Holistic Array of Authentic Services (HAAS), LLC Available Openings: 3 Posted Date: July 13, 2021 Industry: Direct Service/Social Services Pay Type: Hourly Compensation: $13/hour Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) provide care and assistance to elderly or physically or mentally challenged individuals in their homes. PCAs provide help for daily living activities such as preparing and eating meals, personal hygiene and grooming, taking medication, bathing, using the bathroom, completing housework and other similar chores. PCAs provide companionship along with helping the individual to enjoy life at home rather than in group living or institutions. Most jobs are part time but we do have some full time positions. Depending on the amount of care the client needs and the PCAs willingness to complete additional training, higher pay rates may be available.

**Responsibilities**

Arrive on time to all job shifts. Keep accurate track of hours/tasks for bi-weekly time sheet. Support clients when they need help with daily living tasks. Cook meals as needed for the client. May be asked to help client with shopping and other chores. Keep office staff at Holistic Array of Authentic Services aware of any issues with the client and of any schedule changes. Act quickly if there is an emergency to protect the health of the client.

**Qualifications**

Like working with people. Physical stamina. Able to do housework and cooking. Willing to perform tasks related to personal hygiene, grooming and toileting. Must be reliable as your clients will depend on you to arrive when scheduled and on time. Driver's license is not required but the PCA will be responsible for their own transportation to the client's home. The home may or may not be close to public transportation. Our company will do our best to match PCAs to clients so that transportation will not be an issue. Must take and pass the Minnesota DHS online training for PCAs. (This may be completed upon hiring.) Must be 18 years of age. Must pass a Background Check.
