Marquette is recruiting for a hospitality focused Personal Care Attendant to join our team!

Wages: Starting at $16 an hour.

Hours: Part Time only. Morning availability is most important, morning and evening availability would be a bonus. 7:30/8am-1pm typically. Rotating weekends and holidays.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Personal Care Attendant:

* 1. Assisting seniors with activities of daily living such as showering, hygiene/grooming tasks, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship, accompanying to appointments, etc.

* 2. Provides medication reminders.

* 3. Transport residents via WC to and from activities, worship services, beauty shop, and on-campus appointments.

* 4. Reports changes in condition or new concerns to the Wellness Nurse.

* 5. Other duties assigned by the Nurse that do not require licensure or certification.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

* 1. High School Diploma or GED required.

* 2. Practical knowledge and ability to assist Residents in Activities of Daily Living.

* 3. Ability to use initiate and good judgment in determining the needs of both staff and residents.

* 4. Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement during emergency situations.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions:

* 1. Job requires frequent walking and standing for extended periods. Walks or stands 75% of the time.

* 2. Must be able to lift 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

* 3. Must be able to bend down and lift objects from the floor.

* 4. Must be able to lift and transfer residents in accordance with established facility policy.

* 5. Must be able to work paying close attention to detail with frequent interruptions.
