Personal Caregiver (OMJ/MC) - Pioneer Home Health Care : Job Details

We are looking to hire multiple caregivers to work in our clients' homes as well as in our adult daycare center in Englewood providing hands-on personal, non-medical care. We have both part-time and full-time positions, M-F schedules. Experience preferred but not required.[JOB DUTIES:]{.underline}[Homemaking and meal preparation.]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Run errands, go shopping, assist with hobbies and other social activities]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Light cleaning]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Assist with bathing, brushing teeth, and dressing]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Transfer them from their bed to a walker or wheelchair and into a vehicle.]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Re-positioning in bed]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Assist with some exercise or stretching]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Reminding clients to take medications]{arial ,= sans-serif = }[Being a companion]{arial ,= sans-serif = }Successful applicants will have the 3 ps....patience, punctuality, and a pleasant disposition.Caregivers must be trained and certified by the state. Pioneer/Freedom is responsible for the costs of the training and certification.Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a BCI/FBI background check.
