Job Title: PC Warehouse Technician

Pay: $22-25/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Contract (3-6 months to start)

Hours: Standard 9-5

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PC Warehouse Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues. This role involves providing support to end-users, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems.

Responsibilities:

• Tag and scan computers and related hardware for inventory tracking.
• Move pallets and computer equipment in an active warehouse environment, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Perform warehouse tasks such as wrapping and unwrapping pallets to prepare for shipment.
• Basic hardware knowledge needed, such as what certain computer input/output ports are and navigating computer selection menus
• Install, configure, and test printers, copiers, and related hardware in office or client environments.
• Diagnose problems using test equipment and diagnostic tools, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.
• Utilize basic hardware knowledge to identify various computer input/output ports and navigate computer selection menus.
• Maintain a keen attention to detail to accurately distinguish between similar serials and products.
• Willingness to undergo training on Windows SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Autopilot processes.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of computer hardware components.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on new processes and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with Windows SCCM and Autopilot processes is advantageous but not required.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Exposure to various environmental conditions within a warehouse setting.
