Job Summary: The Personal Lines Customer Advocate is the primary day-to-day contact for all service needs for both external and internal customers. They are accountable for facilitating team service deliverables and managing accurate, efficient, and effective responses. This role requires subject matter expertise in client services and coordination, accurate insurance processing and customer experience delivery. Responsibilities:
  • Serves as primary processor of client-related documents and services.
  • Utilizes standard processes to increase effectiveness and improve overall service delivery.
  • Administers defined processes, analyze data, and suggests improvements.
  • Ensures pre-renewal information is sent out within service standard and follows up with clients for timely response on pre-renewal information, and insurance markets for a timely response of quotes.
  • Negotiates with carriers on behalf of clients.
  • Champions client cross-selling initiatives and develops customer accounts.
  • Manages renewal marketing plan (if any) with Producers and Service Teams and ensures everyone on the team is aware of the plan, and the plan is executed. Creates accurate proposal/deliverable for the Producers and Service Teams to utilize at client renewal meeting.
  • Reviews quotes for accuracy against supporting documents. Negotiates additional coverage/price with the underwriter.
  • Quickly and accurately completes the renewal bind processes and checklist and ensures all aspects of the renewal are completed and documented within the file.
  • Ensures that the file is accurately documented to minimize E&O exposure and to be able to quickly respond to client requests.
  • Partners with the team to manage the workload and deliver exceptional customer service as defined by Acrisure's Customer Service Standards.
  • Improves client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding customer service standards.
  • Receives and responds to client calls and email requests per Customer Service Standards.
  • Uses the Operating Systems (O.S.) as defined and enters needed information accurately and timely.
  • Processes daily mail for agency; Applies necessary postage for outgoing mail, maintains the mailroom and all aspects of the mail machine; scans, indexes and distributes incoming mail/faxes and deliveries following appropriate confidentiality guidelines (as assigned).
  • Handles incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, directing callers to the appropriate team member (as assigned).
Requirements:
  • Current Insurance License in Property & Casualty and/or Health & Life for the state in which your agency office is located.
  • Ability to work toward professional designation.
  • Must be comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma (college preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business or related field OR equivalent relevant experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within the insurance industry or business-related experience
Physical Demands:
  • Position entails long periods of remaining stationary, whether in a seated or standing position
  • Must have access to a reliable source of transportation. Some travel may be required.
  • Frequent and extended screen exposure and a large amount of typing
