Job Summary
A personal Trainer develops personalized fitness programs for their clients, motivating and guiding them to achieve their goals.
$20-$35/Hr
Duties & Responsibilities
* Demonstrate or explain how to perform various exercises and routines to minimize injuries and improve fitness
* Observe clients perform exercises to ensure proper technique and safety
* Provide modifications and options during the workout to help clients feel successful
* Monitor clients' progress and adapt programs as needed
* Attend team and one-on-one meetings
* Report accidents and injuries to supervisor as soon as possible and fill out an incident form
* Maintain current certifications and complete required yearly CEC's
* Complete assigned CEC courses on Club Connect within the given timeframe
* Communicate with other staff and supervisor on GroupMe app
* Maintains positive attitude with members and staff
* Wear proper uniform - black pants, trainer shirt and a nametag
* Present yourself in a professionally ethical and respectful manner
* Redeem client sessions on Daxko at the start of session
* Keep clients informed of sessions remaining
* Complete Fitness Orientations as assigned
* Complete required client assessment forms
Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements & Qualifications
* CPR, AED and First Aid Certification
* Hold a nationally accredited Personal Trainer Certification
* Complete required yearly CEC's
* Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform and appearance.
* Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work with a diverse population and demonstrate an appreciation for individual capabilities
