Job Description:Pest Control TechnicianLocation: Long Island, NY (Servicing Oakdale and/or Southampton)
Pay: $21 - $24 /hr (depending on experience)

Oakdale and Southampton, NY with JP McHale Pest Management LLC, you will provide the vital link between our company and our clients through exceptional customer service. You will seek to solve existing pest problems and recommend corrective actions to prevent future pest problems. Overall, you'll spend your day helping other people in your community by solving their pest challenges, building long-term relationships with those on your route, and protecting their homes and businesses.
Essential Job Functions and Requirements:- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to enter/exit structures and crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to visually inspect for pests, pest entries, etc.
- Ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
- Follows all JP McHale Pest Management Company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Follows OSHA/FIFRA policies and procedures when carrying out pest control services.
- Operates company vehicle safely; and maintains vehicle to comply with DOT and company guidelines.
- Completes services as scheduled and provides appropriate documentation of services performed.
- Acts quickly and effectively to address actual or potential problems.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the job; walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting & carrying up to 40 lbs., etc.
- Must have at least 3 years of driving experience to drive a company vehicle.
