Position Summary

Concordia University seeks applications for the 24-month PGY1 Program Pharmacy Residency program. The CUWSOP PGY1 Program Pharmacy Residency program is aimed at preparing pharmacists for generalist ambulatory practice in urban underserved areas and roles in teaching. It is a 24-month practice and academic leadership emphasis with time split equally in practice and on CUW's campus. Year 1 practice is at Progressive Community Health Center where services have been established. Year 2 in practice is at an urban underserved practice site where services are in need of development. Half of the resident's time is spent in direct patient care at the practice site with the remainder of time CUWSOP in teaching and learning activities that will foster academic development. Time on campus is split between teaching roles and academic development including coursework that results in a Master's in Education. Graduates of our program will be prepared for success in a variety of ambulatory care practice positions as well as for pharmacy practice faculty positions.

* Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy and eligible for WI licensure
