Pharmacy Technician - NHC Pharmacy - Lancaster, NH - Part Time

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Technician to work in our Maxor managed pharamcy at NHC Pharmacy, a clinic-based,in-house retail pharmacy located in Lancaster, NH. In this integrated model, the Maxor pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. Maxor National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX, manages the pharmacy, including personnel.

We need primarily in the afternoons from 12noon-5:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays and with the ability to cover for staff's PTO days, also.

• Greet customers and take prescription orders
• Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
• Answer the phone
• Input customer information into the computer system

• Active pharmacy technician license in the State of New Hampshire
• PTCB Nationally Certified Technician preferred
• A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience is preferred
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service
• Computer experience mandatory
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
