Job Details Responsibilities: The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records and assisting in filling Intravenous antibiotics. Filling, trouble shooting and maintain automated dispensing machine. Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately per established schedule. Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. NYS Pharmacy Technician registration required. PTCB or NHA certification required. Experience in an acute care facility Pharmacy department strongly preferred Salary Range USD $26.92 - USD $27.22 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
