Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
Perform essential production duties in a commercial pharmacy, including operating powder machines, tablet and capsule grinding equipment, and sterile compounding in a cleanroom environment. Prep medications for compounding, assist pharmacists in daily operations, and handle shipping/receiving of finished products.
Responsibilities
+ Perform production operations, ensuring correct weights and measurements.
+ Package and ship finished products.
+ Complete relevant documentation following strict quality assurance programs.
+ Perform daily cleaning of facilities and equipment.
+ Complete necessary training and continuing education requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and perform basic math.
+ Common sense reasoning to carry out instructions and solve problems.
+ Must become a licensed pharmacy technician through the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
+ Valid driver's license.
