Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services RepresentativeContract Duration: 4 MonthsPay range: $24 - 25/hrLocation: Decatur, ILWork Type: Onsite, Shift/Time Zone: 7 am - 4 pm /Central Are you a compassionate and skilled phlebotomist looking to make a difference in patient care?We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Interaction: Greet and interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Phlebotomy: Perform accurate and efficient blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Specimen Processing: Prepare and label blood specimens for laboratory testing.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality control procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a patient service center environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
