Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR)Contract Duration: 3 MonthsPay range: $22 - 25/hrWork Type: OnsiteLocation: San Pablo, CAJob Description:Are you a compassionate and skilled phlebotomist looking to make a positive impact on patient care? We're seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I to join our team and deliver exceptional service.Key Responsibilities:Patient Interaction: Represent the company to patients, creating a trusting and welcoming environment while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens accurately and safely.Specimen Processing: Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing, following established practices and procedures.Process Excellence: Demonstrate leadership behaviors and focus on process excellence, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in patient information.Operational Efficiency: Perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional work environment.Documentation: Maintain required records and documentation.Customer Service: Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience a must.Skills: Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
