ABOUT THE ROLE

CoStar Group, Inc. combines research, technology, innovative tools and powerful marketing enabling customers to make informed, high impact decisions. Having a rich understanding of the quality of photography in our products ensures we are producing content that is relevant and usable to our customers. As Photography Quality Assurance, you examine the media produced by Architectural Photographers and Associate Photographers to safeguard the expectations of the business and customer. By examining the media, you look for opportunities to elevate the overall quality of media on our sites to further delight our customers.

Photography Quality Assurance is responsible for unbiasedly assessing the quality of media via visual inspection against department standardization and accuracy guidelines. In this role, you look for conciseness, clarity, relevance, and consideration for the customer's overall experience with media on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Performing audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards via visual inspection. Meeting or exceeding monthly performance objectives.

* Maintain objectivity while assessing media.

* Record accurate and timely results from audits.

* Execute professionalism, effective communication and collaboration with internal partners.

* Provide constructive and actionable feedback to photographers regarding quality expectations.

* Communicate timely with internal departments to resolve uncovered concerns as they arise.

* Remain up to date with new standards and guidelines as they are announced to Photography and Field Research departments.

* Present media standards to new photographers within the business.

* Focus on continuous advancements/improvements of workflows and processes to drive optimization and innovation in photography quality.

* Continued learning and development of your craft, including staying up to date on new techniques and technology.

* Maintain the highest professional standards and promote our ethics of trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree required

* Demonstrable experience as a professional Architectural Photographer, Photo Editor, Photography Production Manager, or similar of 10+ years

* Highly calibrated understanding of what makes a great image, including color accuracy and light theory

* Excellent visual taste and a wide range of knowledge about and appreciation for visual storytelling

* Expert knowledge in post-processing and photo editing skills, including Adobe Creative Suite, IE: Photoshop, Lightroom

* Mac proficient

* Proven ability of performing to metrics/key performance indicators

* Ability to work in a collaborative setting

* Attention to detail, objectivity and the ability to think strategically

* Confident personality with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

* Proficiency with internal systems and the ability to quickly learn new applications

* Ability to act on own initiative and work successfully alone and as part of a team

* Ability to adapt quickly in a technology led environment

* FAA Part 107 Certification
