A correctional facility is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

Eastern Virginia is well-known for its historic sites such as Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown! While on assignment visit these sites or Virginia Beach to relax by the water!

The psychiatrist is responsible for conducting psychological assessments and utilizing DSM-IV-TR and DSM-5-TR classification systems to diagnose and determine the need for specialized care. The role involves providing treatment using various techniques and principles, including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, risk assessment, and counseling. All work is performed independently or under the supervision of a higher-level clinical psychologist.
