Job Description :
Full time Physical Education teacher. Must be certified to teach physical education in grades 7-12. Applicant must hold a current Oregon teaching license or be able to secure one by start date. Experience as an Athletic Director and/or Athletic Coordinator, and/or coaching football and/or basketball desired.Reports to: Building PrincipalEssential Functions: Including but not limited to knowlege and understanding of current educational practices and methods, evaluation techniques, behavior management techniques and communication techniques. Is familiar with and adheres to all relevant Board policies and administrative regulations, TSPC standards, building rules, and applicable state and federal laws. Supports the philosophy and mission of Central Curry School District. Demonstrates appropriate collaboration and leadership skills. Ability to work cooperatively with staff, students and the public. Good communication, organization and computer skills.Compensation: Contract placement depends on year of contracted teaching experience, salary as per collective bargaining agreement - currently under negotiations.Education/Degree: Bachelor's or higher degree in education or other acceptable educational training in area of study as required by Oregon license.
