Maintain clean, safe working environment. Maintains professional relationships with patients, families and staff. Adheres to MH/department policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.Responsibilities include:* Safely transfers patients between all surfaces as instructed by therapist/assistant* Provides appropriate guarding of patients during ambulation as instructed by therapist/assistant* Assists patients in performing therapeutic exercise programs as instructed by therapist/assistant* Observes patients' response to treatment physically and psychologically and reports any changes to therapist/assistant* Maintains a clean safe environment for patient care* Maintains all logs as required (OT fridge, hot pack, cold pack, washer/dryer, paraffin, splint pan, crash cart)* Maintains inventory of therapy supplies and submits orders in a timely manner* Maintains professional relationships with staff, patients, families and students at all timesQualifications include:* HS diploma or equivalent* Health care experience preferred* BLS RequiredSalary RangeUSD $23.55 - USD $23.55 /Hr.The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.At Catholic Health, we believe in a people-first approach.
