Must Haves:Bachelor's level degreeLicense to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire.BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA).Plusses:Master's and/or doctorate degree2 years of previous physical therapy experienceJob Description:Seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team full-time at their Harker Heights location. This person will be responsible for:Performing initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.Establishing, revising and evaluating a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involving the patient/family.Performing therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills appropriate for the condition of the patient.Overseeing activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.Providing education to patients, families and staff members as necessary for the attainment of treatment goals.Maintaining accurate and timely patient and personal records.Participating in performance improvement processes as it relates to departmental, site and network functions.Participating in selection of new team members and assisting with peer review of performance as needed.May be required to be on-call. PLEASE NOTE: This position includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment.
