A Day in the Life of a Physical Therapist Assistant:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant you will provide physical therapy services for the Article 16 Clinic under the clinical direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist Physical Therapist with therapeutic activities and in the development of the physical therapy program.
• Accesses, procures and teaches effective use of adaptive equipment.
• Provides clinical consultations to other programs as required.
• Provides services to a person though their collateral for the purposes of enhancing the effectiveness of the treatments enabling the person to remain in the family or placement setting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For:

You have effective time management, organization and communication skills. You have a New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license and a valid New York State driver's license that meets Agency driver standards.

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday 8am - 4 pm OR Part time Monday, Thursday and Friday 8 am - 4 pm (24 hours per week)
