We maintain a dedicated staff of employees and Each of our facilities offers state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and exercise equipment.SportsCare Institute is currently seeking a part-time Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our KidsCare team in West New York, NJ. KidsCare is a school based program in Hudson County with an outpatient facility in West New York. Clinicians work on a school schedule. We are accepting applications for experienced and entry level Physical Therapists Assistants. We attribute our success and quality of care to our committed staff who makes this possible.   • Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm T/TH
Responsibilities:
  • Providing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program.
  • State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy principles.
  • Experience in sports-related injury rehabilitation is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
