* Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $107,500.00

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Excellent opportunity for motivated Physical Therapist to practice functional and exercise oriented treatments in prestigious orthopedic and sports medicine facilities located in Manhattan and Westchester

Responsibilities

The physical therapist is completely responsible for their patients and the aides who are working with their patients. Duties include:

* Reports to the Director of Physical Therapy

* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Maintain full patient case load

* Formulate complete problem-based treatment programs

* Maintain complete, thorough and accurate daily notes for each visit including cancellations and no-shows

* Monitor patient visits and updated prescriptions for authorization compliance

* Produce evaluation, follow-up and discharge letters to the referring physician in a timely fashion

* Update and progress treatment programs regularly as appropriate

* Supervise patients at all times

* Oversee the aide who is working with your patient

* Complete notes into computerized notes system in at timely fashion

* Manage patient schedule

* Complete at least one continuing education course per year and present in-service

* Maintain the highest levels of ethics and professionalism at all times

* Maintain open communication with all staff and physicians

* Must be flexible with location, hours and days and may include Saturday

* Must successfully complete system training requirements

* Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

* Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Current New York State License

* Four years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with Physical Therapy billing and coding preferred.
