Sanders Hand and Pediatric Therapy is an outpatient private practice that inludes Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy with focus on General Orthopedics, Hand Therapy, and Pediatric Therapy. We currently have 1 Physical Therapist, 6 Occupational Hand Therapists, and 1 Pediatric Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a Physical Therapist with diverse interests in Orthopedics and Hand Therapy. Our work environment includes: Relaxed atmosphere Flexible working hours Responsibilities: - Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine the best course of treatment - Develop personalized treatment plans and goals for each patient - Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans Skills: - Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology - Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers - Ability to provide quality patient care with empathy and compassion - Proficiency in conducting pediatric physical therapy sessions - Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques Note: Additional skills may be required depending on the specific job requirements. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with patients of all ages, from children to adults, providing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. Your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology will guide your assessments and interventions. By utilizing your skills in acute care settings and trigger point therapy, you will help patients recover from injuries or surgeries.
