Become part of our mission to promote lifelong wellness through compassionate, evidence-based practices that empower individuals on their healthcare journey.In this role you will:Provides quality care by assessing patient goals and needs, interpreting evaluations and test results, and determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.Average patients seen 3-4 per hourAdministers treatments, including manual exercises, and assists patients in performing physical activities, such as ambulatory functional activities, using assistive devices like crutches and canes.Evaluates the effects of treatments, prosthetic and orthotic devices, and completes discharge planning in collaboration with healthcare professionals.Ensures continuity of therapeutic plans post-discharge through home exercise programs and recommendations for follow-up programs.Documents patient care services, maintains confidentiality, and upholds infection-control policies and protocols.Maintains a safe and clean working environment, oversees equipment operation, and develops staff through in-service training programs.Complies with legal and professional requirements, stays informed about legislation, and contributes to the team effort for optimal patient care.We require:Valid New York State license for the practice of physical therapy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Demonstrates 1 to 2 years of practical experience in the field, showcasing a proven track record of delivering effective physical therapy services.Possesses proficiency in Word and Excel, leveraging technological tools to enhance documentation and administrative tasks.Exhibits strong communication skills, fostering effective interaction with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.Salary up to $105,000/annually.Monday - Friday.
