Responsibilities for Physical Therapist

  • Identify and meet patients' goals and needs.
  • Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve patients' motion and mobility
  • Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
  • Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
  • Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions
  • Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
  • Promote patients' healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
  • Discuss with other healthcare professionals such as chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, physicians, and massage therapists to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
  • Maintain detailed, accurate treatment records of patients
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions

Qualifications for Physical Therapist

  • 2+ years experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices and clinical expertise
  • Driven to learn and grow continually
  • Professional behavior
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Valid license to practice Physical Therapy
  • Graduate degree or greater in Physical Therapy
