MedAdventures is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist in Port Washington, NYThis is a 13-week assignment, with the possible ability to extend.
Responsibilities for the Physical Therapist:
Shift: 8hr Day
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to determine functional limitations and treatment needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs.
Utilize various physical therapy techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies to manage conditions.
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Productivity expectation is 60 visits/ week; Will see 12-14 patients/day.
Requirements for the Physical Therapist:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Valid state license to practice physical therapy in New York.
Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, modalities, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Compensation and Schedule:
Minimum 36-40 hours/week, Monday- Friday
