A Skilled Nursing Facility in Peekskill is currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join their growing Rehab DepartmentAbout the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 9am - 5:45pm
• EMR: PointClickCare
• Patient Population: Long Term Residents
• Patient Volume: 10

Responsibilities:The PT will:

• Directly supervises Physical Therapists Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians / Aides, Physical Therapy and/or Physical Therapy Assistant student interns and other Physical Therapists (as needed) per state practice act.
• Recommend modifications and changes in the resident's therapy treatment as indicated.
• Ensure that all therapist notes are informative and descriptive of the care provided and of the resident's response to the care.
• Make rounds with attending physician/medical director, etc., as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure in the state of hire. Physical Therapists with temporary license and pending examination schedule are eligible if required Physical Therapist supervision can be accommodated
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.

Desired Skills:

• Experience within Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, or Long Term Care.
