Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic Outpatient Clinic. This part-time (24 hours) opportunity offers flexibility while providing the potential for increased hours to cover additional shifts. At our flagship facility in Westport, CT, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient health and recovery.

You will engage with specialists in rehabilitation, pain management, and wellness to optimize both surgical and nonsurgical outcomes. With state-of-the-art facilities and a comprehensive range of specialty programs—such as Balance & Falls, Cancer Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine—you'll be well-equipped to deliver exceptional care.

The Physical Therapist (PT) will conduct thorough evaluations to assess and address physical dysfunction. Your role will be instrumental in developing and executing patient-centered treatment plans, implementing advanced therapeutic interventions, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed examinations and evaluations of patient function, including strength, movement, coordination, balance, and more.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that promote optimal movement and safety.
  • Implement and manage appropriate therapeutic interventions to facilitate patient recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association program with a degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Active or temporary license in Connecticut.
  • Current CPR certification.
