Job Title: Physical Therapy AssistantLocation: Langhorne, PAResponsibilities:Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standardsImplement a plan of treatment for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations including short and long-term goals, collaborating with other staff members, and required patient and caregiver involvementDocument patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation proceduresTreat with manual therapy, mobility, and strength training at current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainableKeep track of patient progress, and report progress to patient, caregivers and loved ones, as well as facility staff and healthcare providers as neededHelp develop a plan for patients following completion of their plan of treatmentAssist staff members to provide a safe, clean, effective environmentRequirements:Degree required.
