Department Physical Therapy Job Purpose
The University of Scranton's Department of Physical Therapy has an ongoing need for laboratory assistants in its DPT program. Lab assistants may aid faculty in lab courses on an as needed basis
Essential Duties
Assist faculty to demonstrate, supervise and offer feedback to students who are learning a variety of clinical skills and other relevant foundational science applications.
Additional Skills Required
Licensed physical therapist as indicated in clinical skills labs; Experience with technical lab procedures (e.g., human anatomy, kinesiology, applied neuroscience) as indicated in relevant applied science labs.
Minimum Education Requirements
Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related health care or life science field
Preferred Education
DPT or earned academic doctorate (e.g. PhD, EdD) in physical therapy or a related field.
