Physical Therapy Transporter - The Pavilion at Queens for Rehabilitation & Nursing : Job Details

If you are reliable and compassionate, The Pavilion at Queens wants to meet you! The Pavilion at Queens is a 302-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Flushing, Queens. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.

Currently, we are searching for a full-time Physical Therapy Transporter.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Transporting patients from their room to the rehab gym.

· Assisting patients or lifting patients into wheelchairs.

· Offering support, encouragement, and solace to patients.

· Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe during transit.

· Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or designee.

· Maintain the highest level of customer service to our residents and visitors.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Previous work experience in assisted living, long term care or hospital setting preferred

· Patient, kind and helpful demeanor.

· Comfortable working with elderly and/or sick population.
