Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) is a 530-bed acute care hospital in East Meadow, New York. NUMC is Nassau County's premiere Level 1 Trauma Center with a state-of-the-art Burn Center and Hyperbaric Chamber. It is a tertiary care teaching hospital with a fully accredited Internal Medicine Residency Training Program. We are affiliated with the 585-bed, A. Holly Patterson Nursing Home. We are seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for our Designated AIDS Center.

In this role, you will:

• Perform inpatient consultations
• Perform clinic sessions
• Maintain quality improvement initiatives
• Take part in ID on-call service with two other ID physicians

To qualify, we require:

• New York State Physician License
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Commitment to teaching and providing quality care to an underserved population preferred

Salary: $155k - $205k
