Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in New York, NY - AAS Locum Tenens : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to join our team in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will be a licensed physician who will split their time between patient care and team development.Compensation: $275,000 and benefits package.Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Duties: Provide high-quality patient care for 3 days a week in Upper Manhattan.
• Team Development: Spend 2 days a week visiting sites to mentor and develop clinical staff.
• Leadership: Oversee medical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with administrative and medical staff to improve patient care and clinic operations.
• Training: Develop and implement training programs for medical staff to enhance clinical skills and patient care.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate clinical practices to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
• Valid New York medical license.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to mentoring and developing medical staff.
