Pilot Needed
Position: Co-Pilot/SIC – the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting PICs for flight duties & daily operations. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends & holidays. The job is mainly flying along the US East Coast & Caribbean/Bahamas, Florida and Northeast US. Flight schedule t/b/d & home most weekends. Avg 30-60 hrs monthly, salary $115.00 per hour.
Duties:
Support airplane operations conducted by the Aviation Department & perform administrative dutiesOperate airplanes to transport passengers to destinations within the United States & internationallyPerform preflight checks by consulting weather forecasts, notices to airmen & dispatchers to create a flight planPerform all preflight activities in compliance with FAA regulationsAssist in documenting in airplane logbook, such as flight time, destination, maintenance discrepancies, duty times, etc.Notify maintenance staff of any discrepancies; work directly with Chief Pilot & mechanic to identify & rectify discrepanciesEnsure maintenance, stocking & cleanliness of aircraftQualifications/Requirements:
FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)/ Commercial Multi Engine LicenseFirst Class Medical CertificateThe SIC must have at least 1000 hours Total flight timeMust have minimum 100 hours nightMust be able to lift 50 lbsKnowledge of all applicable FAA & ICAO RegulationsKnowledge of aircraft operations & related subjects like navigation, weather, communications, instrumentationKnowledge of flight planning using FltPlan.com, ForeFlight or EFBAbility to operate airplanes in adverse weather conditions, day or night, interpret & apply complex regulations or proceduresAbility to analyze data and draw conclusions, make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functionsAbility to cope with the psychological and physiological pressures of international flight operations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
