Pilot Needed

Position: Co-Pilot/SIC – the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting PICs for flight duties & daily operations. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends & holidays. The job is mainly flying along the US East Coast & Caribbean/Bahamas, Florida and Northeast US. Flight schedule t/b/d & home most weekends. Avg 30-60 hrs monthly, salary $115.00 per hour.

Duties:
  • Support airplane operations conducted by the Aviation Department & perform administrative duties
  • Operate airplanes to transport passengers to destinations within the United States & internationally
  • Perform preflight checks by consulting weather forecasts, notices to airmen & dispatchers to create a flight plan
  • Perform all preflight activities in compliance with FAA regulations
  • Assist in documenting in airplane logbook, such as flight time, destination, maintenance discrepancies, duty times, etc.
  • Notify maintenance staff of any discrepancies; work directly with Chief Pilot & mechanic to identify & rectify discrepancies
  • Ensure maintenance, stocking & cleanliness of aircraft
  • Qualifications/Requirements:
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)/ Commercial Multi Engine License
  • First Class Medical Certificate
  • The SIC must have at least 1000 hours Total flight time
  • Must have minimum 100 hours night
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of all applicable FAA & ICAO Regulations
  • Knowledge of aircraft operations & related subjects like navigation, weather, communications, instrumentation
  • Knowledge of flight planning using FltPlan.com, ForeFlight or EFB
  • Ability to operate airplanes in adverse weather conditions, day or night, interpret & apply complex regulations or procedures
  • Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions, make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions
  • Ability to cope with the psychological and physiological pressures of international flight operations.
